About the event
Paint N Sit Movie & Art Night is a new extension of what we’ve been building over the past five years, a space where creativity, community, and culture come together in a more intentional and consistent way. For the first time in our organization’s history, we’re creating a recurring experience every last Saturday of the month at Starr Park in Forest Park, where people can come paint freely and then transition into a movie under the stars.
This isn’t just about watching a film or creating art. It’s about creating a rhythm for the community, a space people can count on to come as they are, slow down, and reconnect. In a time where people are constantly moving, overwhelmed, and disconnected, this experience offers something different. It gives people a moment to breathe, to express themselves without pressure, and to be in community in a real way.

RSVP & join us for a free, community-centered evening of creativity, connection, and culture at Starr Park in Forest Park. Every last Saturday of the month, we’re bringing people together to paint freely and enjoy a movie under the stars. Come early to grab your seat, pick up your art supplies, and create at your own pace. As the sun sets, we’ll transition into a featured film on the big screen for a relaxing, shared experience with the community.
