Paint n Sit's mission is to provide therapeutic art spaces that promote healing, connectivity, and emotional wellness. We envision a world where art is a catalyst for unity, understanding, and a celebration of individuality where people from all walks of life can come together to express themselves through art.

Founded in 2021 by Elijah Wade, Paint N Sit Inc. started with a small group of friends painting in Atlanta’s parks. What began as a few people sitting together in the Old Fourth Ward Skatepark has since grown into a massive event attracting thousands of people. Wade’s vision was to create an inclusive, therapeutic space where anyone can join, paint for free, and experience the mental and emotional benefits of art.

 

 

our Free community festival is our annual flagship event held across local Georgia parks. Over 15,000 people have gathered  between  our 8 Free Community festivals to create art, connect with others, and experience the therapeutic benefits of painting. With music from local artists, yoga, breath work and, sound bowl meditation sessions,  vendors, free painting supplies, and a sense of community, our events offer a truly unique experience for all ages.

Over 10,000 people have gathered at these events to create art, connect with others, and experience the therapeutic benefits of painting.
